Sorry, SMU is not a good basketball team. UConn's D has been stellar but SMU has missed wide open shots.

On the bench and in the half time interview Geno looks like he is not feeling well. Anybody else get that?

PS. His remark was humorous: Too many passes and we are just looking for the perfect turnover!

I agree, Geno was either not feeling well or a bit distracted.

Yeah, sounded like he has a little cough

OMG 18-0 to start the 2nd half. I'm reminded of games where UCONN wins the first half by about 35 and the 2nd half by 10 - almost a 50 point win, but the 2nd half seemed blah... Doesn't seem it will be the case today...

Tuck with her 4th foul? What a lackluster game by her. more fouls than points - one of the few "bad" games she's had this entire year...

If MT needs to have the occasional "bad game", she picked the right one.
Agreed. However, i will say, watching the game, she's doing things that don't show up on the stat sheet (much like I expect Boykin to do). I should say a "bad" offensive game with some stupid fouls. It's not like she's playing "awful"...

With a lineup of Jefferson, Chong, Stokes, Tuck and Williams, you might think the offense could grind to a halt. I hope the "bench" guys play well. So far I have to say really good game by Chong. Like what I've seen from her today. Looks better than in any other game since Stanford...

In his interviews, especially during AAC road games, he looks absolutely miserable.

I don't think he is sick. I think he is generally offended his great program has to play in this [mod edit] league due to reasons beyond his control. I think he is deeply offended by it quite frankly.

Moriah's dad's advice to her recently: Play loose. Have fun.

What he tell hear in selecting college? Ans. Some schools you are looking at you may get 1 or 2 championships, but UConn you have a shot at 4.

100 people strong in the Moriah fan club today according to Kerith who is interviewing her parents right now.

Hopefully SMU will hit double digits this game.
SMU with a scoring drought of 9 minutes or so and counting. They are missing some "open" shots, but UCONN defense is absolutely swarming.

Side note - I can see why Williams played "guard" in high school. She has had a few really nice drives with the ball and very comfortable using her left hand laying it into the basket. I know Geno famously said "she played guard? She can't shoot, dribble, or pass..." But she's showing a lot. That kid is going to be really good for UCONN...

Did Stewie and KLM play only 5 minutes in the second half? they've been on the bench for a long time now.

Oh, and Jefferson with a double double - 11 points and 10 assists. She's phenomenal...

Geno is using the bench a LOT today. I know you called for the walk ons, but really, they won't ever play in a big game and I think it's way more important to get good minutes for Chong, Stokes, Ekmark and Williams...
