Actually these results also say that MAC level play is catching up with the lower reaches of the BCS (that would mean the BE). Toledo is a decent team this year, despite the blow out to Boise. Maybe someday UConn could be as good as a MAC team. I hope I'm not asking for too much.

you guys joke, but if WVU, L'ville and RU leave, what are we left with? basically a crap conference with 1 team that has annual top 20 potential.

A MAC offense put up almost 500 yds on us thru the air. Our D is or was supposedly the best in the BE. Time to respect the MAC?

Don't forget Big East Savior Temple got waxed as well. Happy times ahead for the Big East for sure.

Combining June Jones' past success with an improved location in recruiting-rich Texas, why is anyone too surprised with SMU's improvement or even their defeat of traditional rival TCU?

Maybe we deserve to be in a crap conference??

why would you say that?
We are worried, and rightly so, about being left out in the cold for football. I am a big fan, but we are what we are at least for football. If anybody takes us it will be because of the basketball and soccer programs.

The Deceased East will eventually be "sold for parts". WVU has real value. Maybe UConn for hoops. Maybe L'Ville for hoops. Maybe Rutgers for proximity to NYC. Discouraging.

We have to decipher whether we are talking football or other sports. We are a national powerhouse in many sports - not football. Football will just come along for the ride unfortunately.

Soccer programs???
What world do you live in. Then why isn't Akron and Portland State being targeted.

What are you talking about. I don't understand. Unlike you I live in the real world.
