I'm with you. I've always preferred calling the school Connecticut, rather than UConn, and I definitely prefer the way it looks on the uniforms.

Appears this years uniforms will have blue and red trim on the side reminiscent of the 99 and 2004 trims. Rest if uniform rains unchanged from last year but definetly brings more color back to home uniforms than was in place last year.

Nice find. I think this is a small change in terms of the actual uniform but a huge positive change in terms of branding. Those under arm stripes are iconic. They are UConn men's basketball. It was a mistake to ditch them and I am ecstatic they are back. It's a perfect blend of old and new. Can't wait to buy one, and I hope the road ones are the same thing in blue.

Phil Chardis of UConn's sports information department told the Couranton the back of the jersey "the dog logo has been moved down so it is no longer hidden behind the number and a fourth star with a '14' in it has been added to signify the fourth national championship (it previously had stars with 99, 04 and 11)."
