We won by double digits without ever really doubting the outcome. Duke needed a low percentage three from a kid who had missed his other four in the game in the final seconds to put the game away.

We have one point guard in uniform. We have a quality wing on a stationary bike (not that we are hurting at the wing position). We have another kid in a boot who may be able to play some quality, albeit few, minutes in the front court. Our star recruit is trying to get used to playing with a mask.

And yet they still easily handled a pretty scrappy little team.

We know Alex can and will play better.

We expect Drummond will be much better.

We have an absolute stud shooting guard.

Our point, which was a big question pre season, had 8 assists vs 2 turns in a game where a big couldn't score. Imagine what those numbers will look like when Alex and Drummond start dunking.

In a few weeks, most of the issues will be a thing of the past. We'll have another guard so Jeremy and Shabazz don't have to play 38 and 36. Drummond will have adjusted better to the mask and will catch up to the speed of the game. Alex will emerge. They will have a few more guys to practice against.

We all knew this was going to be a work in progress, so relax and let the master paint.

Yeah, somewhat disappointed by the play of some guys but not concerned. Yet anyway.
