Silas deserves way more credit, wayyy more credit (I mean, nationally speaking and from the media. We already give him tons of love on the BY). Without his deflection, there is no shot.
But also, UConn won that as a team. All 5 players had a role in that 3. If one thing from any of those 5 is off, they don't win. Mullins 3 splashing through the net with that beautiful sound was the result of incredible decision making, not just from him (and his intial pass), but all five. Karaban showing so much trust towards his freshman teammate exemplifies this 2026 UConn team IMO.
(And I think even Ross' pressure on the inbound pass is underrated and wasn't that him, with Karaban, putting pressure on the initial pass that was kind of awkward from Duke, and I felt like that kind of put Duke out of sorts to begin with).
