This is a big one, he fits us perfectly as a 2 way guard with great size and great defensive chops. Waiting on three more decisions from our current players and two or three more portal additions depending on those decisions.

Replay of his game against Florida from February (one of his best games of the season) is worth a watch.

1. Really good shooter when his feet are set.
2. UGA’s offensive style is ugly. He was effectively the only facilitator and almost everything ran through him. Half court was generally a PnR for Demary to try to make something happen or just giving it to one of the other guys to let them try to go 1-on-1. Mostly the rest of the guys are just standing around. His assist numbers are going to skyrocket.
3. Loves contact in the paint.
4. Some loose dribbling and a few headscratching entry passes. That said, the passes being telegraphed is probably also a function of an offensive system that does almost nothing off-ball to get the guy open. Everyone in that arena knew exactly where those passes were going.

Hard to imagine a better fit, honestly. Enough says to play 3 guards comfortably, well-rounded and switchable. Comes from the SEC and put up grown man #s as a sophomore.

Yeah his assist numbers aren't super high level, but he'd be in the league if he was. IMO about as good a pickup as you can imagine at the guard spot in the portal.

Love the fit.

Elite end-game closer in terms of his ability to generate offense, get to the rim and make FTs, plus I am encouraged by his PG potential moving away from Georgia's iso-centric offense to UConn's flow. Add in the fact that Demary has a ton of defensive potential too.

Overall, just a damn good all around big guard. Psyched.
