Silas and Jaylin are Questionable for tomorrow (edit: Silas good to play)

I think the bigger concern is that the source seemed to suggest Demary would be very questionable for Sunday. Certainly one game at a time, but boy win or lose Hurley is gonna face a lot of questions after the game.

Considering Furman starts a 6'5" point guard, I might consider starting Jayden Ross and benching Ball. You need Malachi to have a PG out there, and having both Smith and Ball is a bad idea considering Furman's height.

If not starting, it has to be a quick sub if necessary.

If we can’t beat Furman with Malachi Smith we weren’t going anywhere anyway
That's nice but a loss to Furman is bad.

That '08 team had Jeff Adrien, Stanley Robinson, AJ Price, Jerome Dyson, Hasheem Thabeet & Gavin Edwards.

That team minus Dyson made the final 4 the following year.

We will use Ball, Ross, and Mullins to handle the ball when Smith is out. I doubt we see either Furphy or Millender unless we are up big in the second half

They're probably going to have to use AK as a hub more, let him survey from up top while action is running

Feed Tarris early and often. They will have to double the post. POA defense is the main issue. May have to play Ross more and have Smith play off POA if their PG starts to go off.

Well, HW611 always said Ross would be a starter. Here we go?

With that being said, how about Karaban, Mullins, and Ball all show up tonight. UConn needs lots of offense tonight.

The injury was never a turned ankle. Guys don’t get carried off the floor for a turned ankle.

Interesting how they advertised the x-rays being negative but never mentioned the MRI results.

Agree with you there, but the collective losing of minds feels like we’ve lost the plot here
Do I believe they can lose this game without Demary? Yes. I just remember how loaded the '08 team was. A lot of great players. And they lost in this exact same situation.

No one is really talking about this but absolutely insane coaching malpractice.
Plenty of people have talked about it, and we have no idea if it had any impact, But there was no point in playing him.

When did the BY ever understand the plot? Someone legit said we should decline an NCAA tourney invite the other day.

They need to hit shots on kick outs.

It is going to be hard to run the offense at time tonight without Silas. I like Smith but he isn't as adept at it as Demary, he's a better drive and kick player though. Not sure what Hurley does when Smith is out (fouls or just rest). He has let Ross/Ball/etc bring the ball up in the past but the offense never runs well. Survive and advance.

Amazing how there’s still push back and questioning about Millender, Etc. playing. Lol. At what point do people think we should use those other guys?!?!?

Guys, it’s Furman, they’ll be fine. Probably just a risk / reward play to have him ready later

Well my “source” was right thus far. Furman is good enough to give us a problem with Silas so this isn’t good. Imagine not having him fit UCLA or UCF as well, because the source said that Sunday not looking good as well.

This will be the definition of surviving and advancing.

This is certainly the concern. UCLA just beat MSU and is looking good tonight.

Truth hurts. I was hoping your source was full of it, but sadly he or she was accurate.

Can we just have some good news for once.

Why does it seem UConn keeps players out as long as possible. Im sorry tape it up or whatever and get out there and play.
Yeah Tape it up, put a cast on it, or just amputate it or whatever and get the heck out there and play!!!!!!! Amiright????
