It is amazing how everyone suddenly falls into place when Bazz is on the court. He doesn't even have to have a good shooting game to help this team. Absolutely impressive performance.

Kemba carried the team on his back. Shabazz nurtured the team and brought them with him for the ride all season long!

Bazz certainly created some Kemba-like magic this season, fantastic season. Today the slip passes to Deandre were things of beauty.

Gutty, gritty, plucky.

If he returns next year UConn has fantastic chance to get to the final four!

But he doesn't play for Syracuse. He can't be those things.

He is iron willed , highly skilled , and adept at scoring the pill

Porter will (deservedly) win Big East POY, but I honestly think Shabazz is the best player in the conference.

Just look at the different between when he plays and when he doesn't. It's unbelievable.

He played on one foot, had no lateral movement and the team was still better with him in the game.......even on D had some great hands plays!! What a ballsy game for Bazz........

If he isn't the best, he certainly is the most valuable

He is the consummate floor general! He is the head of the dragon!

I was referring to his gutsy choice of gutting it through the injury and playing all but one minute of the game. We all know about his skills even if the rest of the country has their heads up their end zones.

He's all heart, there was a reason Bazz had trouble leading the team last year, he cared a hell of a lot more than some of the other players. It's completely his team now and everyone believes in him.

Shabazz really needs to come back. He has a chronic foot problem and struggles to make it through a thirty game season nevermind the much longer and more grinding NBA season. A college degree will serve him for the rest of his life while the NBA is a bonus. He's a rather unique situation compared to others we've had who faced a similar choice. He's the best example of one who should lean to the education side. He's also a good student.
