This 100% makes complete sense for Napier. He has always been a very high IQ player. As fans, you can always take that for granted, but then you realize it how important it is when you see low basketball IQ players make low basketball IQ plays whether it's on your favorite team or another team.

Best of luck in your coaching endeavors, Shabazz.

Natural progression. He should have received a 'Coach's ring' for the 2014 Championship season. He was truly Ollie's assistant on the floor.

Bazz is a General, Leader and Lifter of Men.

Hmmmmm He may one day, in the distant future, depending on his success and development . . . . . . .

College HC is such a different beast. I can see a former player, especially a dog, just wanting to work with the guys in the gym and on Xs and Os rather than deal with recruiting. And I wouldn't blame them. I don't envy any college basketball coach

He's is gonna be a good nba coach. His skill level and intellect made him an nba player when his raw physical ability and size made him an almost impossible candidate to play in the league.

That's a great profile for a professional coach. A guy who knows how to grind and knows how to do things at the margins to stay at nba level.

Good luck with your career as a coach. Thank you for two national championships

Are we also going to knock Calhoun because Kemba operated as another coach on the floor.

What are we talking about
Don't play dumb, you know.

One of my favorite huskies ever. I was in attendance for his career high for pts NBA game during his Wizards stint. 29 if I recall correctly. Really thought hed stick w/ an NBA team, but think he needed about 1% more athleticism. That was the difference between him and Kemba. Such a thin margin at that level.

Glad he'll be back in the league.

Well, suggesting someone with no experience to come coach the Huskies only took 4 posts....
