Shabazz is a champion- again

Shabazz Napier gave Milano the lead in the LBA Finals
"Pushing Ettore Messina’s team since the beginning, Shabazz Napier was the hero for the red-and-white side, scoring 22 points with 5/10 from beyond the arc, 5/6 at the line, and 3 assists. This is the fifth time the former Washington Wizards playmaker went over 20 points in the Italian league..."

What's interesting about this is I live in the DC area, and I don't think I've ever considered Shabazz a Wizard legacy player...

Love Bazz, love him to continue to win. Every time he was released in the NBA it seemed it was always a "tough decision" and he was gonna be missed. Great that he found a home.

As a reminder of Shabazz' greatness check out this article.

It included his AAC POY acceptance speech. Such a class act. He even thanked the managers, effusively.

Congrats and good luck in the future. Thanks for two national championships and two walk off baskets Shabazz.

@Villanova and vs Florida are Shabazz walk offs.

2011 and 2014 are the national championships.

Isaiah Whaley is playing in a championship series in Mexico. His numbers have been off the charts. The league season ends before July, leaving him open for a spot in the Summer League.

Does anyone know what type of contract Bazz is getting these days? Is he making over $1M/yr?
