This thread could overtake the Diamond Stone thread by a huge margin when it's all said and done. If we have to still be talking about Diallo as a recruit in spring 2017, this thread reaches 100 pages.

Not sure. I'm not really following his recruitment that much. Diallo may reclass so obviously he is our top SG

Top recruiting guys are all over the map with reclassification. ..

Looks like Powell might be keeping his option open. Pitt and others are pushing hard

Definitely him. "Billy4NIT" matches up well with his Courant.com comments. Interesting to see he hasn't let up on drinking antifreeze.
 
Hamidou would be making a big mistake going to Kentucky. Recruits that go to Kentucky are NBA ready players, which Diallo is not. He's a raw, freak athlete with tons and tons of potential. UConn is a perfect place for him. Ollie will know exactly what to do to get Diallo to the NBA.

Diallo sounds a ton like Archie Goodwin, who got drafted in the 1st after a single season at UK, but would have been better off spending another year in college.

He has 2 more years to hone his game. I expect him to be much more refined by 17
 
What are our legitimate chances of getting this guy? Cause I want this dude more than I want to marry Jennifer Aniston so I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing.

A lot of people, including our own basketball staff, as well as most anyone who has followed him, would be pretty surprised if he ended up somewhere else.

Very good. Jennifer Aniston is a smoking hot celeb who recently got married. If UConn's chances were worse then we'd be doomed and a NEXT would be in order. We are FAR from that. VERY far
