Maybe it is a maturity issue, not taking every second he is in the game seriously, maybe its just a skill issue and this is who he is; A lackadaisical player who we may never see the full potential of. I am praying he gets better with age and it's more of a mindset problem. He is so fun to watch.

1 turnover he threw right off AK's shin. That was one of the moments I was talking to the TV.
His positional defense needs work as well. But like you said, you get glimpses that tantalize what could be.
There are a couple guys on this team where I wonder what their ±/- would look like.

Losing is much more popular with this crowd.

There's lots of competition for who has the sharpest eye and tongue and pen to fashion the surest, toughest take.

Sometimes it's as though, "Winning? That's for losers."
 
I'm feeling good about the team peaking at the right time. This team kinda, sorta reminds me of the pre-natty teams. They'll go as far as their shooting takes them. That wasn't far before, but this team has more guys that can make a shot. So let's see them make some shots, win some games.

He had one or his best defensive games next to the Villanova(first game) and Marquette last one.

I think the switch flicked on the last 10 minutes of the Marquette game and with AK sealing it with the win. The team feeds off of AK and with him finding his shot again it feels like a weight has been lifted for the whole team. The intensity was different and they were just playing together having fun out there. We're back to dunking everything, that was missing most of the season.

I'm pretty bullish on what this team can do now that it's one and done time. I'm super bullish if Liam snaps out of this little funk and two of Mahaney, Jaylin, Ross can give us good minutes.

I agree with your assessment, but I think it started 2nd half v. Georgetown. The energy was different. Got it carry over to Providence, a house of hours for us in years past, and then Marquette and now today. You gotta hope McNeeley, Karaban, and Ball go on a shoot heater together. They have won the battle of the glass with everyone, even St. Johns, with McNeeley back. FT shooting looks much better. Plus they are attacking the basket more rather than settling for 3s. Team is jelling well. Hope it carries over now that tournament season is here.

That loss was very painful. People needed to vent their frustrations. As enjoyable as this butt stomping was to watch , Seton Hall was just disgustingly awful today.

Karaban’s shot looking good. Ball looked good today. Mahaney looked good today. Lots of minutes only 1 TO some nice assists. If the starters stay health and Mahaney and Stewart can contribute off the bench this team has a chance to make a run.
 
Only caught the second half on TV, the game was already over basically. Good to see them playing like this going into tourney time. We look dangerous when we play a complete, team game. Let's keep it rolling, seeds are what they are, just have to play whoever you draw and win one at a time.

There is a level of effort and connected play the last few games we haven’t seen all season. I just wish they had like 2 more weeks and 4 more games to really round this out before hitting the tournaments. Oh well, better late than never. Glad they seem to be peaking at the right time. Can’t wait for Thursday.

Only saw the first half. This was a laugher. How the hell did we lose at Seton Hall. Have to assume the guys were a bit angry about that and decided to let it all out. Good sign heading into tournament play.

Hassan has valgus knees. Looks like he has been riding horses his whole life. Him playing well is crucial to this team. He is a major league soldier trying to push through pain to help the team win.

That's about as brilliant a revenge game as you can get vs an inferior team.

The score was 75-32 at one point. UConn slowed down in the last 10 minutes and shall made an 18-6 run but otherwise that first 30 was incredibly fun to see, made me forget the upset. I think they'd pound Colorado by 25 in a rematch too.
 
The big change that I saw today was that a lot of people were getting into the lane. Mahaney was playing tough and attacking. We just seemed like we got some swagger back. Hopefully, it gives the team a needed boost headed into the postseason.

I really don’t expect to win the BET, but we certainly can. It’s a tough tourney and good BET teams and the refs give us all we can handle. I really like this team playing in the NCAA’s with more finesse friendly refs on neutral courts. It may work well for us. I also feel really good about the play of Sam and Tarris. They’ve both been playing well and it has coincided with a nice run of solid play.
 
Samson went off in the beginning of the game. Having his parents there must have made him so happy. Today was not our A game but I expected this result. Liam is struggling but he never looks like he is down. When he gets his mojo back we are a serious problem. Solo and Stewart are playing better D. We are not fouling shooters all the time. Players are on loose balls and not waiting for someone else to do it. Hope we can keep building in the BET and break loose in the NCAA's.
 
There was a play today in the first half when Ross went out on a 3 point Hall shooter in the corner and instead of jumping and fouling he put his arm up and let the Hall player shoot. That is a huge improvement in situational awareness. Saw this from other players as well. We have a small window to win games vs top level teams and not giving away points will give us a chance to survive and advance.

Still too many turnovers, too many passes to the front row or thrown right at someone’s feet, but the only thing I want to say about today is how the hell did we lose to Seton Hall? How do we ever lose to them?

I feel like our team gets drugged whenever they go there. No other explanation works

There has been a noticeable increase in Huskies diving for the ball and being the more aggressive team for loose balls.
My BP monitor confirms this observation.
