Too many turnovers and fouls. When you give the opposition 25 free throws, that can make the difference in close games, and it did. When you give them free possessions, you have to work harder to stop them and that causes the fouls. Gotta clean up!

it's still Hurley's team and something is rotten. It's his responsibility regardless of if he was out there tonight or not.
But if they would’ve won it’d still be because he wasn’t out there is my point. Win or lose someone was gonna blame Hurley lol.

But your point something is very rotten. We’re in a full blown collapse

A ridiculous amount of turnovers once again…many of them are unforced coming from trying to get Sanogo the ball. This team can get out of their own way.

Hawkins taking a nap in the second half

Karaban can’t box out

Sanogo can’t make a lay up

Clingan can’t get the ball above the rim

Alleyene hasn’t hit rim in like three games

Jackson out of control/no defensive discipline

LOST IN THE SAUCE

The coaches still feel like we don’t need to change anything. Someone tell me what AJ does for this team? He rebounds sometimes. He is not the passer every says he is. Cant defend anyone yet I keep hearing he can defend 4 positions. He can’t shoot or drive. He is a negative

I'm convinced that at least half the chat room is made up of parents who at one time or another had to be escorted from their 5-year olds soccer game.

it's really weird. the reason they were so good is because they weren't phased by anything and just played their game for 40 minutes. now at the slightest sign of adversity they totally fall apart.
The odd thing about tonight is that the guards whom everyone has been dumping on kept trying to keep us in it, but the bigs kept missing at the rim time and time again.

I don't know if one can call it stubborness when you feed Sanogo or Clingan for what should be an easy basket and they keep missing. And it wasn't Hall's defense for the most part.

We made it easy for them. We ran the same force it in to sanogo play every time we could. They knew what we wanted to do and forced turnovers and forced shots on double from him. Hawkins started off hit with the curls and they quickly started glued to him and ended that.

We had that spark when we were running on beans and causing chaos right before halftime. Fast break layups and 3s are needed. Our half court set is the most predictable thing I've ever seen.

Just extremely disappointing. I had such high hopes, but that ship has sailed. Players regressing and the coaching staff seemingly oblivious .

The wheels are off. This team is in crisis mode.

No Hurley is no excuse. Up 17 against SETON HALL and they lost. I counted 5 missed layups down the stretch from Sanogo and Clingan.

We’re lucky we weren’t blown out. We had a superstar 2 minute stretch towards the end of the first half where we went from up 4 to up 17. Really bad play for the other 38 minutes

UConn deserves this loss and anybody who gives us a top 25 vote next week needs to have their voting power taken away.

We know the team has the talent to hang with the best, but right now we aren’t even looking like a tournament team.

Coaching staff has to earn their checks for the next 2 months, this is embarrassing for everybody

is it me, but half the turnovers just seem like were throwing it outbounds or just not even paying attention on where the ball is going

yeah he's absolved of all responsibility just because he missed one game. It's not like we've been playing lights out until tonight. we're in a slide and he steers the ship.
He’s absolved of all responsibility tonight, for sure.

He literally was not steering the ship.

But go off, I’m sure you’ll feel better.

If you honestly think the refs are why we lost this game when we had 12 second half turnovers you don’t understand the sport of basketball

What SHU was allowed to do defensively after the technical was objectively different than before. We wilted under the ball pressure but SHU was allowed to play football for the last 12 minutes.
