Seton Hall Game moved from Sunday to Saturday (merged)

Actually the storm doesn’t arrive till Sunday morning in Jersey so I expect a very long and robust post game interview.
The local New York radio station was driving me crazy this morning. They kept reporting that the storm would arrive Saturday morning around 1 AM. I'm pretty sure he meant SUNDAY morning at 1 AM, since the day changes from Saturday to Sunday at midnight. At least, I hope that's what they meant.

You mean North Jersey not Central. BTW, I would put our pizza up against anyone's. I hope the team gets food from Montclair on Friday night. I will be there having dinner so if I see them I will report back.
At risk of getting the wrath of Nan, I would say that S. Orange is on the northern fringe of central NJ. What exit? about 50? Nevertheless, good pizza, and good paczkis if you could find a mom-and-pop bakery. Everyone got their paczkis for the big snowstorm? BTW that's another thing you probably can't get south of the Mason-Dixon line.

Not even close. South Orange to Central Jersey is like Delaware is to New England. To get there you can get on Route 280 from the Parkway at Exit 145 and go west. If from the Turnpike, you would get off at Exit 15W and get on 280 for about 10 miles. The exit for South Orange is in East Orange and then you go south naturally for 10 minutes. We also have the Town Hall deli in South Orange where the Sloppy Joe was invented and a venerated sports bar known as Bunny's which has great thin crust pizza.

Oops, I meant exit 150. Yes, exit 144. Just an eyelash north of Newark. I don't consider that North Jersey. Ringwood is North Jersey. Anything South of Sayreville is "down the shore". FYI, about a thousand years ago I took my GREs at Seton Hall.

.-.
Thinking of last minute driving an hour to go to the game today, but I don’t have a ticket and the Seton Hall ticket office is closed on weekends. Anyone know if it’s sold out / the chances of getting a ticket there?

Live Stats &1:
&1 Live Stats for yet-to-be-played games are available via this schedule.
  • The link is removed for played games.
  • The schedule links are useful as to when pre-published links don’t work (as the case was for MI and Utah) as the game is in-progress.

I grew up in Verona (and then Rutherford) and no matter how hard you squint at the map South Orange is Northern NJ. For heaven's sake, it's 20 miles from Manhattan and is located in Essex County. Central Jersey is out in the sticks and has cows and stuff. Essex County has traffic, good pizza and, at least back in the day, the Mafia.

Exactly. The Sopranos was filmed in North Caldwell in Essex County, not in Middlesex County. Tell someone from Verona they are from Central Jersey and you would get the Ayanna Patterson stare down.........for starters.

Hopefully geography wasn't on the test or you would have failed.

This was meant for Skeets. We are about as proud, possessive and protective of our area as Geno is about Storrs pizza.

If S. Orange is due west of Manhattan, it can't be north. Passaic county is north. Bergan county is north. You Central Jersey people are very touchy.
