Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere. But in reading a very new article on LSU getting Fulwiley, it mentioned Williams as another transfer that LSU has signed. I have not found a story about this, however. Sad for us if it's true. SC and LSU are definitely loading up. It's a good thing our roster is already stacked!
 
I just saw that too. LSU women similar to St John's men with lots of players in and out of the portal every year.

As the article says, LSU lost 5 to the portal but now have 4 gained from the portal including Fulwiley, Williams and Koval from ND

I saw it as well. I suspect it's a mistake.
 
This is surprising coming from ESPN, as it's usually other sources that break the news of transfers' new schools. I'm thinking it was an error.

The article in question was about Fulwiley. It mentioned, in passing, that she would benefit from playing alongside "Williams" (with no first name). Just a random observation by a random person that does not count as a commitment announcement by the player or school. Please do better.

Fulwiley is LSU's fourth addition from the portal, joining Kate Koval, Serah Williams and Amiya Joyner.

Not exactly. It names Serah Williams very specifically:
I think it's an error because signing Williams would be at least as big a story as Fulwiley. It wouldn't be just a throw away addendum to another story. I expect there was some confusion with Mikayla Williams.

Don't tell me to "do better." I reported an article that mentioned, in passing, that Serah Williams was one of 4 players LSU has landed: "Fulwiley is LSU's fourth addition from the portal, joining Kate Koval, Serah Williams and Amiya Joyner." I said I had not found a story about it elsewhere, and said it would be sad for us, if true. IF!
 
I thought I read that she was visiting UConn soon........hopefully it was fake news but if not good luck to her.......hopefully we'll see her in person next season in the big tournament.....

The one thing that appears certain is that LSU has some money to throw around, and Kim will recruit talented transfers over existing players on her roster or inbound HS recruits. It will be interesting to see how LSU’s allstar team does next year.
 
Stacked is a relative term and by position for me. We are not stacked in the bigs department though a certain freshman rebounded like Wilt. Sarah has too much talent to be stuck inside. I'd like another true big but gotta say our girls absolutely tore up the NCAAs.

I believe I heard as well that Williams will be visiting Connecticutnext week here’s where we hear that patience thing again. I wish the NCAA would make a deadline for signing.
 
I’m inclined to believe that Williams signed with LSU. Their organization ain’t shy about leaking news.
Talia Goodman posted on twitter that Milaysia signed with LSU last week, w/o a visit. Skim even posted last week that Lay was going to LSU.

She seems to have taken a good amount of time to make her decision which is the right thing to do.....if she hasn't visited UConn and met the coaches and team, she's selling herself short.......

Skim said she would be visiting UConn and is a very reliable source.
 
Reed Darcy (staff writer for NOLA) reported one hour ago that LSU has three transfers in: Koval, Joyner and Fulwiley. This would tend to indicate that there has been no official commitment from Serah. Later in the article he poses a question regarding of how Fulwiley will fit in with Johnson and Williams. Since his article clearly states that there are three in transfers, one would have to conclude that he is referring to Mikaylah Williams, not Serah. This may have a point of confusion for someone.
 
Maybe it wasn't confirmed by our variety of experts but I thought
she was in Storrs for the first NCAA game?

Whether or not that was true I'm encouraged that it looks like
she will be on campus next week. She would be a valuable
pick-up regarding the [lucky] number 13th.
 
Perhaps someone - mistakenly? - translated "visiting" into "committed" and social media in all its "never let the facts ruin a good story" elegance did the rest...
