Serah and Jana Since The Holiday Break

I may be wrong (I haven't checked the tape, as they used to say) but I believe that it was Geno who said to Jana "You didn't come all this way to be a non-factor". It was him urging her to impact the game more, and not, as you suggest, her whining about not getting playing time.

Yes, I think she got a reminder along the lines of what freshman Gabby Williams was told when she didn't get to play in the game at Stanford which broke the UConn 91 game streak (even though she was from Reno, Nevada, a few hours drive from Stanford.) Basically, it was along the lines of "if you want more playing time, be so good that the coaches have to play you." Jana had been missing some layups and put backs right by the basket and since the break she seems to have been much better at finishing when there is contact. If she keeps that up and continues to hit those foul line/elbow jumpers, I see her getting more minutes and I see Geno playing more double bigs with both Jana and Serah on the court at the same time.
