Apparently, Geno has come to the conclusion that relationships with recruits need to start earlier than in the past.........having had a child go through this initial process somewhat recently (at a lesser level), I can honestly say that if a young recruit is well-grounded and has good parental support the recruiting process can be quite enjoyable.............for many recruits playing college basketball is one of their major life goals and to succeed they need to constantly work to improve their skills while also handling their academics and hopefully maintaining a social life.......that balance isn't easy but it's doable.......2028? Followed by coaches? Seriously? Do these kids have time to grow up?
Did she ever visit UConn?
Well we know it’s not UConn since she made no official visit! My prediction is Notre Dame.
I have read that the NCAA can't actively recruit prospects until their junior year of high school, but there are exceptions for football, baseball and women's basketball.2028? Followed by coaches? Seriously? Do these kids have time to grow up?
Prospective student-athletes that aren’t juniors yet can receive form letters, brochures, and other general information on the school and program but targeted recruiting efforts aren’t allowed until that junior yearI have read that the NCAA can't actively recruit prospects until their junior year of high school, but there are exceptions for football, baseball and women's basketball.
My son is class of 2027, and had received letters from four D1 baseball programs while scouted as a 13 year old. They all made it clear that they are limited in the recruiting materials they can send until August 1st of his junior year...so it seems like baseball is not really an exception.
Was t she just at LSU? Probably there my guess. My prediction is Notre Dame.
Technically Ayanna Patterson due to COVID, but went to UCONN vs Butler at Butler to see the team play in person right before she committed. Are there any past recruits who committed to Uconn without ever doing any form of campus visit?
Arianna Roberson has offers from Arizona State and Ole Miss with interest from Texas, USC, and Utah, where she recently took an official visit. I don’t see much interest in teams in the East
Or maybe it was the other way around. We don’t know if UConn ever made her an offer.Nope. Don’t think UConn was on her list

I think Ines and Nika committed before making a visit. Are there any past recruits who committed to Uconn without ever doing any form of campus visit?

Ines didn't visit because she was never recruited. She just came.I think Ines and Nika committed before making a visit.
