Didn't notice this until now. Is this a first? I can't ever recall our last home game being at XL, ever.

OK, so i went back to double-check - this has happened before, for spells, but not in 20+ years..

I guess the powers that be wanted something out of the deal... gotta be the only reason... they loosened their belt(s) quite a bit to get the athletic programs going/headed in the right directions at least...

there is no justification to having Depaul on a Wednesday night at XL.

That's somewhat fair, but seeing as the last home game on campus has coincided with the last game @ GP for 2 decades, it's just weird.

Plus, Depaul on a Wednesday. Why bother?
