Yikes, seems as though lots of corroboration. This is not going to end well for Louisville, but my mind now imagines two women in jail for blackmailing coaches and assistants at UL. My best guess is that she tried to fleece someone before all this came down.

A lot more people know about this than are letting on. There is no way she didn't try to contact them with this in exchange for money before the book came out. Either that, or she's been watching too much TV where people supposedly make a ton of money off the books they sell.

I have to imagine he is. Or, at least, that he's done coaching high-major basketball. I could see a dump like Binghamton not caring about this, but that's about it.

The Louisville fans on Reddit have basically resigned themselves to everything, and are just praying the 2013 title doesn't get vacated.

Five former University of Louisville basketball players and recruits told Outside the Lines that they attended parties at a campus dorm from 2010 to 2014 that included strippers paid for by the team's former graduate assistant coach, Andre McGee.

One of the former players said he had sex with a dancer after McGee paid her. Each of the players and recruits attended different parties at Billy Minardi Hall, where dancers, many of whom stripped naked, were present. Three of the five players said they attended parties as recruits and also when they played for Louisville.

Said one of the recruits who ultimately signed to play elsewhere: "I knew they weren't college girls. It was crazy. It was like I was in a strip club."

With most crime, the most compelling evidence is to simply follow the money.

"Powell said McGee paid her upward of $10,000, mainly, she said, for delivering the dancers to the parties that McGee had organized."

"Outside the Lines has independently confirmed a wire transfer of money from McGee to Powell on one occasion."

With a typical graduate assistant coach earning $40K to $60K a year, where did McGee get $10K to spend on adult entertainment for their recruits? if that money can be tied back to the university or an established university booster, Louisville is toast as this not only violates NCAA rules, its criminal. Both Pitino and Jurich's necks could be on the line here.

As for Pinto not knowing.

These parties were organized by a member of his coaching staff and took place in a university owned dorm - Billy Minardi Hall

This is a male only dorm that looks to house only the basketball team. Entry is by bio-metric locked doors, guests are required to sign in, and the building has over a dozen security cameras. There is no way that other members of Louisville's coaching staff did not know about these events. I can see the staff hiding one 'event' from Pitino; but, hiding several, just does not seem plausible this day and age.

While I would revel in Pitino's demise, and thoroughly enjoy Louisville's fall into hell (especially if those nasty victories against us were wiped off the books) I have to admit I feel scuzzy even reading a story based primarily on the allegations of a woman who admits to whoring out her own daughters.

And it all happens in the time period of the new ncaa rules where coaches are held liable for anything their assistants do.

The problems for Louisville are real. Not undermining the problem because Powell's behavior is at odds with how I think parents should handle their kids. Just find it lousy a mother would encourage her daughters to have sex and not cringe at the thought of it.

She seems credible, smart and well spoken, as do the daughters. This is a big problem for Louisville. I have to say I take no pleasure in watching unfold. It's a pretty nasty allegation that I suspect will be proven to be true.
