Georgetown Twitter has been saying they really need a pure point. Might be a good fit for him there.

So he is still willing to play across the country from home. Not saying Gtown is a bad choice for him. Am saying that after the bloodbath of decommits from last year that KO found guys that were loyal to him but not the school. Whether KO would have coached them up is a mystery. Coach Dan's desire for or commitment to them is also, however, a mystery.

Like getting Drummond opened up the floodgates for the tons of 5 stars who followed him?

UConn did go on probation which hurt UConn with players on the team that helped with the championship as they went elsewhere for a year or two.

Chief wishes Akinjo the best - of all the Blaze recruits though the one who I think is very underrated is Mathews. He has the potential to be very good on both ends. He can shoot and he is athletic. Two things that go a long ways in today’s game.
.
He shot 29% from 3...in high school. Not exactly scorching the nets.

He has good mechanics and stroke; the percentage will come with better shot selection, etc. Trust in Chief’s evaluation.

Many can number evaluate and there’s some merit to that approach but with a young gun that’s where the basketball knowledge and feel kicks in. I remember dudes saying Dre was a bad rebounder and I tried to explain to people in HS/Prep he could just reach or jump over people. It took him 2-3 years to learn positioning even though his numbers were not bad as s Freshman.
