Wait. Didn’t Furman finish 6th in the Southern Conference? And we should be scared on them? Come on, people.

I wonder with UCLA in our pod, and with Virginia and Tennessee the other big draws in Philly, if we get the first night game (7 pm) on Friday.

.-.
Thank you Committee. Apparently they bent read the board and hooked UConn up w a favorable draw.

UCLA is a different team when Clark is going. Not sure he got back to his old self after the injury. Also, Bilodeau (the Oregon state transfer) is a very solid forward. Shoots the three. Smart player. But he is hurt I believe.
Dent also missed the 2nd half of yesterday's game with an apparent calf strain. 6 day turnaround from that type of injury usually isn't happening.

Not only can we shoot, but will Silas be healthy enough to play well, and will we get Jaylin back at some point.

.-.
To the posters who argued w me that polls determine seeding two months ago, I give you St John’s….they will be ranked no worse than 12th tomorrow and got a 5 seed.

And Miami (OH), in the top 25 for the last month or so loses 1 game and gets an 11 seed play in game.

Fretting over the weekly AP weekly rankings is absolutely foolish. They mean NOTHING at the end of the day

I can't believe we have multiple people upset/worried because we were matched up with the 6th place team in the SoCon, the 23rd best KenPom conference
It’s a joke. If we can’t be Furman, the issues run deep.

Both Bilodeau and Dent are hurt. Dent has a calf strain. I think we all remember the strains UConn had earlier in the year. No idea how good either will be.

Wow - they put us as a #2 seed in the East not the West. This is setting up to be the 1989 Big Dance again! Lets go!
UConn made it to the Elite Eight in the 1990 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament before losing to Duke 79–78 in overtime. Killer Christian

Why are Seth Davis's shoes turned up at the tip like an Elf?

.-.
Of course Seth just picked UCLA to beat us.
Seth Davis is neck-and-neck with Goodman as my least favorite college hoops pundit. Only because Andy Katz is just plain irrelevant now.

A lot of folks wanted Duke and the East as the 2... with the loss UConn likely went from #5 to #6, with the loss meaning they went from not being eligible to go to the East (presuming the #1 overall seed avoids the top #2 seed rule is correct).

Sucks that Miami OH didn't get in outright but that play-in game will have a ton of attention
Plus they should have home court advantage playing the play in game in Dayton.
