I would have liked Kentucky as our 7.
They just killed us. — they can beat DukeIs St. John's really going to beat Duke? I think St. John's stinks when they play against a team that is formidable and can shoot and penetrate at all.
Except it did for PurdueThe people that thought we would be a 3 really haven’t paid attention to how the committee works, and what went on in the past two weeks in college basketball.
Oh, and further proof that the conference tournaments don’t really change seeding.
Yep. Bring em on baby. No BE refs for round Quattro either.Man a 4th game vs SJU .
Taris SHOULD eatI know nothing about Furman this season but looking at their stats they are led by a 6'5 guard who averages around 18 ppg and around 5 assists per game. Two skinny 6'11 guys and a skinny 6'8 guy seem to be their three other best players. They're 8th in the country in 2 point fg% and 260th in three point fg% on high volume.
Can they score enough points though? They just killed us. — they can beat Duke
And maybe most importantly are 354th in forcing steals on defense. We tend to unravel when there's defensive pressure and give up fast breaks, which is something they don't doFurhman is 191 in Kenpom. 200 offensive rating, 181 defense
True. Nova is a bit undersized and has no bench. Will not happen- will be surprised if Nova gets out of the first roudn
The real SJU will show up and lose to Kansas probablyCan they score enough points though?
It all depends on if Zuby can contain Boozer on the perimeter, off the dribble, in the paint and in transition. He certainly will compete until the end, I'll give him that. They just killed us. — they can beat Duke
If this is the case, then the big east was properly seeded.St. John's might not get past Kansas.
Alex Wilkins? I'm sure a lot of New England kids would love to go to UConn. They're very tall and tough. And they have a nasty freshman guard who wanted to go to UConn and didn't get a look so he's going to give us 25+.
Yup it’s really the only type of team we lost to all year outside of CreightonAnd maybe most importantly are 354th in forcing steals on defense. We tend to unravel when there's defensive pressure and give up fast breaks, which is something they don't do
Posted tonight.Does anyone know the time of the game vs Furman? Trying to buy tickets asap.
Kansas is a jekyl and hyde team. Depends who shows up.If this is the case, then the big east was properly seeded.
St. John’s will beat Kansas
The Committee does a terrible job as usual. Imbalanced regions, teams snubbed, obvious Power Conference bias, etc
She has to go today. What a joke she isVal doesn’t even talk to her wife.
That doesn't sound like an amazing matchup for us as 15 seeds go. They just need their lead guard to beat Mullins and Ball, and to hit an unusually good percentage from 3, while using their size to bottle up (or foul) Reed.I know nothing about Furman this season but looking at their stats they are led by a 6'5 guard who averages around 18 ppg and around 5 assists per game. Two skinny 6'11 guys and a skinny 6'8 guy seem to be their three other best players. They're 8th in the country in 2 point fg% and 260th in three point fg% on high volume.
Oops my bad never mind lolSo Saint John’s to get to the Final Four oh boy
They have one bigman to go against their frontcourt, I honestly expect Utah St to beat them, they're good.Villanova is gonna beat Arizona, aren't they? Minute I saw that second round matchup it just felt like an upset waiting to happen.
I’m lost. I haven’t been paying attention since the lost. Who said we would/should decline the tournament? Someone on the boneyard or Hurley? We just love humiliation, apparently…
