Man there are a LOT of people in this thread forgetting that St John’s is going to have to play actual basketball now.

If you ever go to their MB and see their fans prognosticate about their games, it is always predicated with "if the refs let us play". Translation: "if we can get away with fouling".

Exactly. I hope this does not spill over to the team (I doubt it). But we better not come out playing NOT to lose. Come out with energy and a confident attitude. Conservative and predictable play is a formula for a disaster.

Living outside DC, is it better pricewise to roll the dice and buy tix now before the matchups are set or can you get in the door for less if you wait to the last minute when aggregators are trying to clear any remaining inventory (i.e., during the day Friday 3/27)? Just checked and they're already pretty high ($700+ in the nosebleeds at Cap One) but I assume they'll skyrocket once the matchups are confirmed next weekend.
