Per Doug Feinberg's Twitter, the 8 teams in contention for the final 4 spots will be revealed in alphabetical order, without indicating whether they're in our out. Yikes.

Wow it seems like ESPN is doing anything it can to help it's ratings. It's been a shame how downhill the network has gone in subscription but it's their own demise. They didn't keep up with the times and the new ways young people want to get their news

Well, here are Creme's latest. Will be interesting to see if he nailed them all

Last four in
  • Rutgers
  • Buffalo
  • Creighton
  • Nebraska
First four out
  • West Virginia
  • Southern California
  • Oklahoma
  • Purdue

Surprised no BY's are trying to predict prior to announcement.

Cant see how this is gonna help any ratings.... might get another 287 people to tune in?

More than you think, I bet. There are at least 15-20 teams that figure to be on or around the bubble, and anyone associated with those teams will be interested to see the show.

Let's put it this way: if Duke were in Virginia's position, would you be missing the show?

Well, I decided to collect prognostications so far. Will be happy to modify if more come in.

I see your point.

Depends how hungry I was...  :p ;)

ESPN Sports Center starting late because of MLS running long. If they have to cut stuff from ESPN, would they cut the women's reveal.

Uh, is there something I'm missing?
It's 4pm Central time, which is 5pm Eastern time, but my TV schedule says SportsCenter doesn't start for another hour?

Edit: Ah never mind. I guess it's just the soccer game running long.

My very quick take on the final 8:
Virginia, Miami, Oklahoma, Cal, USC, Creighton, Dayton, Rutgers

oops, committe chair says that Oklahoma has a great win over Texas A&M ... except they dont

mustve meant W Virginia?

And the 8 are ...
  • Buffalo
  • Creighton
  • Minn
  • Okla
  • Purdue
  • Rutgers
  • USC
  • W Virginia

3 big 10, 2 big 12!

*Insert foot in mouth*

She got Oklahoma and West Virginia mixed up.
Charlie was asking her about Oklahoma, and so she meant to say that they have a good win over South Florida (not WV).

Nebraska was the one team that Creme had but the committee didn't. So is Nebraska in or out?

Since the committee has Purdue among its final 8, I strongly suspect Nebraska must be in.

I'd say this is not good news for Rutgers.

Minnesota _has_ to be ahead of them. The Gophers did a lot better (11-5 vs 7-9) against similar competition (the conference).

Combined with Buffalo, that's 2 of the 4 spots IMHO.

Ok. Here is my quick Tally

Creme wins 7 of 8

Poor Vivian!

Nebraska has gotta be in. Travesty if they're not.
In the last month, they have beaten Iowa twice, @ Rutgers, Purdue, Michigan
With 3 close losses to Maryland and against Indiana.

I guess that is telling UALR that they have to win or go home.
