Howard and Clark have only scored 2 points between them today, but bench has contributed 27. Lynx bench has scored 5.

Have I mentioned these refs are atrocious?

Stewie over 30 points, lead balloons to 20.

At least, some stat filling at the end for Pheesa and Crystal. Next year should be interesting. Storm should be clear favorites for the Championship.

Why do players commit clear path fouls? Instead of saving a layup, you give them 2 FTs and possession of the ball. Not really a good choice.

Crystal was good most of the game. Collier definitely scored most of her points late, when it was already too late.

Pretty scary, Seattle had 3 starters w/ subpar games and still crushed Minnesota.

92-71 final. I think that's 9 straight wins for Seattle over Minnesota (regular season and playoffs).

Vegas and Connecticut match-up with Seattle a lot better than Minnesota does. Should be a competitive finals series, although Vegas might have an uphill battle if Hamby is out.

31/6/7 for Stewie, 16 pts/9 assists for Bird, 32 bench points.

22 pts/15 reb for Collier, 16 each for Dangerfield and Dantas.

Seattle handled the Sun both regular season games, but of course the playoff version is an entirely different animal.

OT: Hamby is done for the season

Other than Fowles not playing, the bench of the Lynx hurt them because they usually do not contribute much. Other than Banham, who was consistently productive like Young was for the Aces and Russell for Seattle?

More than half of the points in the game--85 in total--were scored by 4 Huskies.

It was the only game in the series where all 4 were scoring at the same time.

Huge blow for Vegas. I dont think they can win against Seattle without her.

When the poll was held for predictions on the overall playoffs, I picked Las Vegas because I thought their overall depth could wear teams down. However, Hamby was a critical element of that equation. Plus, Laimbeer started messing with his rotations after the first game and I think some of his older players are logging too many minutes now.

If Las Vegas makes it through, I'll go Seattle. Connecticut does strange things to people's heads with their defense and aggressiveness. Will have to think about it. With Jones back next year, Mompremier can learn from she and and Jones. Great pick-up by Miller.

Brionna Jones will be a RFA, and the Sun won’t likely be able to afford her unless she agrees to work for vet minimum. Jasmine and Alyssa Thomas will need new pricey contracts, and the Sun already have pricey contracts in Jonquel and Bonner.

The timing for Jonquel taking the season off was perfect for raising Brionna Jones’s stock. Same for Hines-Allen out of the Mystics.

Couldn't be happier for Hines-Allen. What, you say? A Domer liking an arch-rival from Louisville?

Well, Myisha also happens to be a high-school classmate of my daughter from Montclair High School in northern New Jersey and I had the distinct pleasure of watching her all four years at MHS. She played hard -- almost passionately -- for the Mounties and led to them to the NJ playoffs. Myisha was also a good schoolmate: attending other Mountie sports (women's soccer, football, etc.) and being a very vocal supporter for teams and friends on those teams.

Going forward, it will be really interesting (read, challenging) for the Mystics to decide what to do with their loaded front-court going forward. I don't know the situation with contracts, but just looking at who is there, who is coming back, etc. makes you see there are a lot of assets that might not get off the bench as much as they're accustomed to....
