Seattle Storm @ Phoenix Mercury - 9/02/18

What up, yard family!? Watching this game at home and I knew that the yard would have something going on about this game. Seattle is in a shooting zone. 8/13 from 3 land! That is Golden State Warrior like shooting.
 
Lead is down to 8, Seattle looking shaky. Howard picked up her 4th foul.
 
Stewie missed another shot, but had a big block on Bonner on the other end and ignited a break for a layup. Nice sequence for her.
 
Bird out, Stewie only 1-6 from the floor this half...and yet Seattle is maintaining their lead.
 
I'm afraid this might be the last we see of Diana this year. Phoenix down by 9, but they can't seem to catch up.

Taurasi is taking this quarter off. It's been mostly January and Bonner doing the scoring. Not much from Griner either after such a big 1st half.
 
Stewie is struggling mightily. 1-8 this quarter. She needs to start playing like the MVP.

D just hit a 3 to cut the lead to 5 at the end of Q3.

Confirmed, Bird's nose is broken.

Stewie missed a 3 but got fouled, hit all 3 FTs. Maybe that will get her going. Seattle clinging to a 4 point lead.
 
Canada just made one of those crazy shots on a drive like she did at UCLA.

Phoenix regained the lead. I think Bonner could pretty much beat Seattle by herself right now.
 
Loyd takes horrible shots at the worst times. Mercs are in overdrive right now.
 
82-76. Phoenix is gonna win by about 15 the way the game is going now.

Howard finally got a bucket, then another layup rimmed out. Phoenix has finally waned, 82-78. Storm ball.
