With the seat selection this year I was able to move down. However, now I've moved to low, since I'm in the 800 dollar allowance at XL. Only 400 at Gampel (what a bargain). so on top of the seat prices and the current donations, my 4 seat will cost an additional 1600 at Gampel and 3200 at XL (4800 total). Who is going to pay that annually on top of all the other donations and ticket prices. we are so $#%^@
too complicated. is the cost per seat in addition to the donation? No email yet. Just on the website.
From what I read yes, you get priority points for bothtoo complicated. is the cost per seat in addition to the donation?
not saying we'll do the same with basketball, but your math formula is why we finally decided to dump our football season tickets for this coming year and buy games on the secondary market. Is this actually simpler and more direct than the donation and points system?
Could be good in that people who really want a lower level seat and can afford it simply walk in and buy them for one year - this could facilitate some new blood.
But by upping that cost and putting it all on a one-year basis it further highlights the ridiculously high per game costs and bad value of a season ticket. If you are paying say $2,400 ($2 x $800 licenses, 2 x $400 tickets) for 2 seats to 10 games that's $120 a ticket. You know you'll miss 25% and are indifferent about another 25%.
So you scalp your way in, overpay for each ticket but pay way less - 175 x 5 x 2 = $1,700
In actuality I can't imagine that it ever cost more than $100/seat for anything but the first few rows all of this past year.
Not to be mean but they are very cheap fans.Wonder why women’s season ticket holders don’t participate?
yes they will.So what I would like to know is, is UConn going to allow us to keep the seats we have now if we pony up the new pricing? My seats were in 117, can anyone answer this?
They have vast delusions of being important to the university. This whole exclusion from the new fees tells me all I need to know about thier importance in the grand scheme. Not to be mean but they are very cheap fans.
I agree with you, but they're just getting it started anticipating better scheduling and more ticket buyers as the program and the conference gets better.Sorry but if we don’t have a strong OOC schedule, not many will pay that kind of $$ to see Tulane, Tulsa, ECU etc. Add crappy early
season gimme games, and it’s a recipe for an empty arena.
Thank you @husky8273 and how do you know this to be true?yes they will.

someone in Athletics told meThank you @husky8273 and how do you know this to be true?
A fee that his fans aren't expected to pay.Let’s have our HOF Coach trash our downtown arena, then we will hit them with the fee. Okay.
every yearIs this an annual fee or one time charge? I usually donate a bit to the school and have my company match it. I just won’t do that anymore if they are charging this each season. And someone mentioned the football seat donations. I sit in seats with no fee attached and may do the same here and just move to different seats when I get in cuz there are going to be tons of empty seats
Every year and I don’t think you’ll be able to get this matched. Tried years ago with football with no successIs this an annual fee or one time charge?
