He ridicules Joe Biden's intellect, yet can't even pronounce Kevin Ollie's name right. What a hick.
 
WTIC, in blue state CT, has gone so far to the right it's amazing. From 9-12AM it's Jim Vicicvich who is a liberatarean, and rips the left constantly. From Noon to 3 Limbaugh. We all know his political preference. Then, from 3-6PM it's "honest" John Rowland, who is being investigated by a grand jury for illegally accepting funds to help someone run for congress.
Somewhere around 10PM they play a tape of Sean Hannity for folks to go to bed with. It's understandable someone like Gray would ridicule Biden's intellect, but mispronounce Ollie's name.
 
Biden comes off as a buffoon, but I was very impressed with his command of figures and his way of contextualizing them quickly during his debate. In terms of debating, he gave the best performance of the 4, but his manner was abrasive. Which docked him big points. Nonetheless, I think it showed something that he was most in command of facts and presentation.

I have also seen Ollie pronounced two ways. All-e and Oh-lee.

The genius that ended Paul Ryan's presidential aspirations, though. Scott Gray is the luckiest guy in the world.
 
Biden demanded that a paraplegic stand up so he could recognize him at at speech. When he didn't stand Biden chided him for being shy. I think that says it all.

Biden is blue collar like JC. They have a lot of characteristics in common. I'm not trying to offend those with the opposite political leaning by comparing the two guys, one whom is admired the other who is hated. They both bring up strong feelings by those loyal to them and their detractors.

Even the idiot traffic guy in the afternoon gets in on the Democrat bashing. I listen to TIC for weather and traffic, and if I miss a chance to get off an exit early because Gray is weighing in on presidential politics with Ray Dunaway or a presumably grown man calling himself Mark the Shark is fluffing "Guv" Rowland, I am not pleased. No one cares if the traffic yutz is for the death penalty. No one wants to know the sports reporter's views on property taxes.

And an ah*le! Imagine acting like that in a business meeting. I guess the #47 don't work so they have no reference to that in a sense. So he is doing exactly as expected.

WTIC and the courant are now owned by News Corp. The change was rather immediate and noticable.

WTIC is no mor a kegut radio station than I am a publisher. And Scott Gray is one of the more idiotic of the bunch, reading and stumbling over his own material like a man with a terrific case of the runs. shortly after the '99 win I asked him in person if he'd talked to ricky Moore's dad yet. He looke at me as if I'd askded about is anus and said "Why would I want to do that?"
Maybe, , cause you're supposed to be a sports reporter????

During the immediate power outage due the Superstorm Sandy we listened to WTIC for info. What we got was ex-Gov Rowland rattling off up-to-the-minute- closures.

Liberal radio doesn't sell because liberals tend to get their news from a variety of sources. Conservatives are more focused in their listening habits and believe that anything that isn't strictly right wing is left wing so they tend to only listen to conservative radio. Liberals are more likely to be dismissive of what they see and hear on say MSNBC while conservatives tend to believe everything they see and hear on Fox news.
As a right leaning moderate with mostly conservative friends, this is how I see it. Just about all of my conservative friends get their "news" exclusively from Fox and if they are discussing an issue they tend to take on the blustery style of conservative broadcasters. It is as if they think the louder they scream the more effective they are. The listening and viewing habits of conservatives have more to do with the bigger audiences of conservative broadcasters than the actual political population of the state. Connecticut is clearly a blue state.

I agree 100%. Fox news is probably the reason most conservatives are in complete shock over last Tuesday's results. I saw a prediction grid of all the poll orginazations and their state by state predictions. The independant polls were pretty much spot on. Fox news had Romney winning all the swing states, even PA. Their electoral poll had Romney with over 290 electorial votes. That says it all.
