Ahhhh...you see it going to OT?
I hope you are right, but that's a huge spread for a Nova game.I'm thinking more along the lines of Husky Fan. IMHO Geno won't keep the starters in for 30+ minutes if the game seems well in hand, and it will be a good chance for the freshmen/sophomores to work against a very disciplined and methodical team.
It will be a frustrating game to watch for UCONN fans. 'nova recently had an inexplicable loss vs. Providence but handled a pretty decent Syracuse team. I think the slow down style of play causes the newbies to be impatient when in the game and it should be lower scoring. It really depends on how Geno plays the bench. I don't think nova can hang with UCONN at all but our defense has to play 30 seconds every posession. It's hard to take 'nova out of their rhythm. No one has scored 70 vs. 'nova but I think UCONN is the first to do that.
UCONN 70
Nova 40
Those excruciatingly painful games with Rutgers a few years back seemed like the Hundred Years War. Tonight could be the Boer-ing War.It will be a war.
18-12.
Or an overture. (My HS band actually played this one year. Used shotguns into metal garbage cans to get the cannon effect. Scared us the first time we practiced with them. Dirt and stuff was falling out of the rafters.)It will be a war.
you are probably right. I probably should have said we score about 62 or something, but i was looking at what other teams did vs. 'nova and several got to the mid 60's. I think our offense is better than those teams and our defense is too, but yours is probably closer. guess we'll find out soon enough!!I hope you are right, but that's a huge spread for a Nova game.
I'll stick with what I put in the other thread. IIRC, 64-46.
