waiting for a bit of a let down after the huge ND game.......UConn starts slow/sloppy pulls away in the second half but closer then expected

Here are the current forecasts. The spread is pretty large, but the average is remarkably close to the results so far against unranked opponents (see vowelguy's post above). I personally think K-State should be ranked given who they have beaten, but at the moment, they are not.

But the game won't be as close as indicated by the score.
 
85-55 Jonathan's relatives win and the people with the most pine splinters play the fourth quarter.
 
I sure hope that everyone's confidence is well-founded. K-State is a good team, and against our one common opponent (LSU) we had a similar result: UConn 76 – 53 and KSU 69 – 54. In those games UConn had 8 players get 13 or more minutes, whereas KSU had 9. Both teams shot well from beyond the arc, and both teams turned the ball over a lot. Still, I can't see KSU matching our athleticism, so I'll predict 82 – 66.
 
Texas plays Holly's crew tomorrow. Unlike some here, I really feel for those players. Texas is going to be looking for blood.

Final score Texas 1 million, Tenn. my ex's recipe for Blowfish.

CTtran: very nifty and very much appreciated....far beyond my 'puter savvy. Thank you. A pregame BIG HELPFUL BALL to you.....first of its kind. (If your time and interest ever permit, could you do that for the ND game, where I'm still not sure we have a consensus winner, and add finding on here?)

It seems the more pessimistic I am about the outcome the better UConn plays, so being the overly superstitious sort, I just want to add.............watch out this could be that trap game!!!!!!

To all of you who have taken the time to make those more specific predictions on the game, such as which player will do what, etc. - pregame INTEREST BALLS going out to you all. Really find those predictions very interesting and think they add to the interest of this.
