Did you know: The Wildcats are one of the very few teams which have only one official color - Purple (Harvard is another with their Crimson).
Predict as usual: who wins......margin of victory....actual score to be used as a tie-breaker. Your reasoning, humor, etc always appreciated. Best of luck and wisdom.
NOTE: re the ND game, there seems to be uncertainty about which of our intrepid predictors proved most prescient. If interested in helping to settle the matter, scroll to the final couple of posts on the "Score predictions for ND game" thread and the "Results of ND score prediction competiton", see the last two or three posts on each and weigh in on here if you'd like to.

84-51, Huskies. I'd have a bigger spread if it wasn't an away game.

Would love to see a game where Geno feels comfortable playing subs. Starters playing at amazing level but getting pounded every game. Love to see the early wins but would feel better having a rested team for playoffs.

Connecticut 88 Kansas State 48. I believe our overall speed, mental toughness and early schedule strength will carry the day. It is great for another part of the country to have the opportunity to watch Connecticut basketball. Great for women's basketball.

90 - 65 KS 30 turnovers lead to 20 fast break points. 5 Huskies in double figures,

92---71 Geno in the fourth quarter will use 5 less used players (subs submerge these kids always have their head high)
From reports kS has turnover issues, that leads to UC scores, Geno will do a lot of mixing and matching--and keeps the score under 100.

I think there will be a little let down in the first quarter coming off the ND win. Pulls away afterward. Defense turns over KS at will leading to many fast breaks. Elite conditioning and energy shows. 83-49

UCONN 90 - 57.
Starters don't average more than 20 minutes, Nurse and Chong have decent games.

I look at K State with their 20 point wins over Tulsa, UTEP, Lamar, etc. and their 10'ish point wins over UTA and Omaha and know they won't be able to hang with us. They mostly average between 60-70 points against these teams. I think UCONN will be much harder for them to score against and so I don't see them getting to 50. The question is... how much will UCONN score? K State hasn't given up more than 66 points yet this season. That will change Sunday.

UCONN 84
KS 48

I don't usually go there - but UConn 87 KState 49.

I can't prove it, but I really think KState is a couple years from peaking - and their peak might be contending with Baylor, Texas and Oklahoma, instead of the lesser lights in the Big 12.
