We get off to a slow start. Their big gets Adama in foul trouble and Donovan is not quite ready for big minutes against a good big.
We come close but learn a lot that will help the team in March.

At some point we're going to lose a game. But the Huskies seem to be pretty connected right now. And following a less than complete outing versus Oklahoma State it is unlikely they will overlook Florida tonight.
 
my eyes tell me we will win ,but my brain is always scared of a good home dog .Many times they bite.

Holy smoke… I was totally wrong. I thought on the road against a SEC team was going to be trouble.

You couldn't have been MORE wrong on every point.

It was not a dog fight.

Newton and Karaban had poor games.

Clingan, Hawkins and Sanogo were great.
 
Right now Alabama has the 21st best offense on Kenpom. They put up less than 70 against UConn. Nova and X are the only teams UConn plays with a higher ranked offense. I wouldn't expect many teams left on the slate to put up 70 on this team. UConn's defense is really good.

Iowa State has the best defense UConn has played at #13, still couldn't hold UConn under 70. Bama at #17, OSU at #26.

I wouldn't predict many teams to put up over 65 against UConn. They would have to get super hot. This team plays stifling defense. For all the complaining about Diarra, Newton and Alleyne. They usually all play very solid defense.


Kenpom should actually only move UConn's numbers up as the season progresses, because last year's numbers are slowly going away.
