69-64 good guys. I expect a dog fight. We don't shoot well on our first away game but win it with defense on the perimeter.

First big test. Newton pulls us away with 4 mins left making his foul shots.

Karaban has a big game. Goes 3/6 from 3 with 5 rebounds and 3 assists. 1 TO.

Quiet game for Clingan.

Hawkins and Sanogo are good, not great.

Newton scores around 20 and is out POTG.

Quiet game from the bench guards.

If we're going to lose, it's not going to be because we get torched on D. It would be more like the 2nd half of OSU where our offense doesn't get anything going and we miss shots in the unfamiliar environment.

I think this game goes to overtime at 62-62. No prediction after that.

Just because the women got clobbered at South Bend the other day is no reason to expect the worst. If FAU can beat them at home by 2, figure at least 15 more points for us.

Joey C, Hawkins go into a shooting slump and Karaban continues with his.
Alleyne, Diarra season long shooting slumps continue.

Doesn’t feel like a W. Are Sanago, AJ, Newton and Clingan going to be enough? Good guys by 2.

Why would you say that? West Virginia scored 84 against them recently and Xavier put up 90. 62 seems awful low considering we average over 80.

Transitive properties never work in sports.

We can win tonight for sure but Florida is much better than those bad losses. Im confident that will prove out over course of season.

Logically yes, you are correct. Having said that, been watching sports long enough to know that the logic outcome isn't always the actual outcome.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong... I don't care, as long as we get the W. I have nothing to back up my take, just think we'll have trouble scoring in this one ¯\(ツ)/¯

I'm not trying to bust your stones, I'm just thinking other pretty good teams put up some serious points on them, why not us? Any W on the road is a good W, I just don't see the rock fight you envision, unless UConn is ice cold from 3.
