Score prediction thread for Tulane

Whoa - this came up rather quickly in the sense that most of us might still be basking in the glow of, and focused on, the SC win 100 in the rear view mirror. But looking ahead, the Green Wave is only two days away, and that is the usual lead time for getting the prediction thread rolling. Tulane still in their unusual but very nice Sky Blue and Olive.

As always, who wins it, by what margin of victory, and as the tie-breaker if needed, what is your call re the exact score. Good luck.

I haven't been too good at this lately, but I'll still play. It is a 7:00 pm game so the slow start shouldn't be a problem based on past history. The millstone of winning 100 games is no longer around their necks and they have had a bit of a R&R break. Some of the starters (Kia especially) will probably play reduced minutes to address some wear and tear issues. Putting all of that together, I see the offensive production down slightly while the defensive effort will be at it's peak.

Huskies win 85-42 for a MOV of 43 points.

Ok, now I am confused. The schedule which I have I printed directly from the UCONN website at the beginning of the season. It says the game starts at 8 PM. I looked there again today and the only schedule I could find, which is in a totally different format, says 7 PM. It says, "All times eastern and subject to change." The ESPN schedule also says 7 PM, but they are not carrying the game except probably on ESPN3.
However, I went to the Tulane website, and they list the game as 7 PM. But, New Orleans is in the Central time zone, so that would make the game at 8 PM eastern time.
What am I missing?

Ok, ..... UConn 98 - Tulane 59 Katy Lou scores 32. Starters sit down in 4th quarter. Kia may rest most of this game, maybe. Crystal becomes more consistent. Gabby is Gabby and Napheesa is Napheesa, .... just doing it better. Saniya enjoys and takes another charge.

OK, cancel the above. I found a second Tulane schedule that says it starts at 6 PM their time. Sorry, my bad.

When I entered UConn schedule it was not the official site. At the bottom it said Data from STATS LLC. It listed the games as Central time.

Game not until Saturday so plenty of time. Our MOV's seem to be about 45 in conference no matter who we are playing. Tulane is probably the 4th beast team in the league and we've had trouble keeping teams below 50 in the past several weeks (Tulsa 58, Tulane 56, Temple 69, Tulsa 50, SC 55).

I realize SC is a different caliber and we pretty much kept our starters in the entire game except when the HAD to sit. Still, I think the game is at Tulane and that the margin is lower than the first time. The last game was won by UCONN 100-56
