Score prediction thread for SMU

UConn has been pretty consistent with scoring in the mid 90's recently and holding opponents to around 50. The game is at 2pm so the early game sluggish start should not be a problem. Starters will be pulled around the end of the third quarter, early fourth quarter in consideration of the Monday game against South Carolina.
The bench continues to improve.
UConn wins 95 to 48 for a MOV of 47 points.
+1 although Geno's been doing that the past couple of games anyway, not so much for 1st team's rest, as for benchers' development. But probably your interpretation will factor in here, too, I bet.

I am not changing my score with Lou out. Although I came in with a low number anyway.

UConn 88
SMU 44

T-Law and Kyla have personal bests.

Still early morning on game day - 28 participants plus a number of good thoughts - and all are picking UConn. The scoring average to date is a win by 95 to 45 or a 50 point MOV.

I've got to say, I am a little surprised that with KLS probably out, the BY is still as supremely confident as ever.

If she is out, it just has to affect MOV somewhat. Otherwise, you are implicitly saying she does not have an impact
when healthy. I will take the opinion that if she is out, we will feel it and things will not be as smooth as usual. I an sure others will step up but I will chisel 15 pts off my original MOV. I will go 74-43.

With Lou most likely not playing, she could fool us all and play, UConn wins 84 - 42.

We have too much fire power for the ponies.

Without Lou have to revise my prediction. The game will be tighter and with a little more anxiety. The offense will have a harder time.

136-2

UCONN 93, SMU 44

If KLS Plays:

Williams - 20
Chong - 16
Dangerfield - 15
Collier - 12
Nurse - 10
Butler - 8
KLS - 5 (In very limited time)
Bent - 4
Irwin - 3

If KLS Sits Out:

Williams - 20
Chong - 16
Dangerfield - 15
Collier - 12
Nurse - 10
Butler - 8
Irwin - 5
Bent - 4
Tierney - 3

BRIGHT STARS ARE ON THERE WAY

Got you on the revision, eebmg - and, if in warmups, you see KLS shooting the lights out, we can go back;)

Per your request, have knocked four points off UConn scoring - but, question, no qualms about a lapse in defensive switching and perimeter movement? Hmmmm;)

Well, without Lou they will lose some perimeter defense. But I think, the confusion of an SMU team prepped for a Loulapolooza defense effort with counter any score deviation.

I knew the change wasn't just a WAG but a well thought out revision taking all aspects of the game into consideration;)

Looks like post time - think I heard the horn - and the window is closing. Looking for two hours of fun and awe and then we'll see who are top MOV prognosticators are
