I also feel horrible for JB and the program.

ACC has not been a Blessing to the Old BE teams except financially. Plus his stubborness has added to this.

You could have written that any time over time over the last 15 years, perhaps longer. For better or worse this the lot of a Syracuse fan and Carmelo may have been a curse as much as a blessing.

His son may blame him based on how his stats hardly improved from last year to this except in the much higher volume of shots taken. Imagine if he transfers?

Carmelo was like a pact with the devil. Got him his championship, got him a big donation to help build their new practice center, but cost him higher expectations upon which he has failed to deliver.

Makes me think of the Kentucky fans who have insane expectations every year based on their latest five McDonald's All-Americans, and yet who year after year suffer the ignominy of defeat at the hands of the likes of the UConn Huskies.
