Sorry there was a GIF with the original post but I didn't add it when I copied it, and now I can't find it.
It was of them celebrating as the BE champs last year, I believe.

You're right. They did. Although it's not against the rules to be a little upset. It's more of saying 'we have more than you'. But yes, it's a little unclassy. I just thought it was kinda funny.

This thread makes me feel the same way I do when I visit my parents in Florida and I listen to them talking to their friends at the pool.

Absolutely. Athletic contest are all about "in the moment." Past performances are meaningless in that context.
