Saturday Sweet 16 games

Stanford's 3 point shooting is looking like Oregon St. last night. 1-12. Brutal.
 
In this game against Stanford, Kelly Harper is not making a good case for HC of Tenn.
 
That was some putrid basketball. Come on Stanford. Leading 28-19 but just look terrible. 1-18 behind the arc, are you kidding me? I think you could shoot that well blindfolded.

I feel that we suffer from a much weaker version of what plagued the Lady Vols all season - but for the Oregon game at home, we seem to play up or down to our opponent's level. Very few blowout games, and yet we are the only team to beat Baylor.

They once led a team 20-12 at halftime in a national championship game.
 
It was an "offensive" offense for both teams in the first half of this last game
 
33-Missouri State 38 Stanford 1:17 end of Q3. Jackie Stiles must be spinning in her ... no, wait, she's sitting with the team as Assistant Coach.
 
Missouri State is totally in this game. They have been playing way over their heads this whole tournament and they are one good quarter away from the biggest NCAAT upset since Louisville-Baylor 2013.
 
Looks at the stanford -Serah Williams missouri state game boxscore..... think know i made the right decision to watch the men's game instead. :oops:
 
Just as well that Stanford wins this. If Missourii St. shot great while Stanford wasn't and won they would just get rolled by ND in the next game. At least Stanford has a chance to hang with ND if they hit from the outside.

I'm not sure if they choked as much as they just ran into a really hot and very excellent defensive team. On the men's side in particular, it's all about who peaks on the last two weekends.

They choked (in my opinion) in the 2017 title game. I will NEVER forgive them for that for the rest of my life :mad::mad::mad:Head bangHead bangHead bang

Yeah..... I picked them to lose to another hot team... Florida State in the sweet 16.
 
Texas Tech has the best defense in the country for a reason and it showed today.
