I know it’s like beating a dead horse but why do these girls keep going to Tennessee??

UCLA trading baskets with Tenn in 2Q? UCLA doesn't look as disruptive as it did with Oregon, forcing Sabrina to take crazy shots (maybe she does this anyway at times, but still). Maybe it's a weak showing from Japrice Dean who looked particularly fierce in that game.

UCLA is still up 13 but Dean is only 2-13 from the floor. Both teams have foul trouble piling up, Burke for UCLA just picked up her 3rd.
Seems to me that the refs have had an impact on the first half...sounded to me like both teams have a few players with 2 or 3 fouls during the first half. Was kinda hard to keep track with all the whistles being blown.

Westbrook got into foul trouble early and has not had a positive impact when she is on the court. Without a strong game from her, there is little chance of a comeback

Seemed like everybody from Tennessee got 2 fouls in the first quarter, but UCLA is catching up. Burke and Miller both have 3 fouls.

Nan - have you been watching? Have you seen Brittany Davis at all? Committed to Mississippi State, but never made it to campus.
Off and on. I’ve been doing laundry and other chores

Maine crept to within 12 points of NC State but the Wolfpack Women have a 51-37 lead at the end of the 3rd quarter. NC State now has three players in double figures.

Central Michigan has pulled ahead of Michigan State. A thriller.

Wow, it took 25 seconds into quarter #3 before a foul call

3 fouls on UCLA in the first 90 seconds of Q3. The refs didn't lose any momentum during halftime.

UCLA went up 16, but now it's down to 7. They've fallen in love w/ the 3 and aren't hitting any of them.

UCLA has 4 players w/ 3 fouls now. They have considerably more foul trouble than Tennessee, despite Tennessee having 4 players w/ 2 fouls in Q1 (I think). Hmm, that's strange.

.-.
Vols within 4 now. UCLA can't hit anything. Bruins are in trouble.

2:21 left...NC State now up 63-48. Kiara Leslie with 20 points, and Kai Crutchfield 14 for the Wolfpack Women.

Will I be banned from the board if I admitted I had Tennessee advancing to the Sweet 16 in my bracket?

I said it before the game. Tennessee is a nightmare of an 11 seed. Plenty of talent, size, athleticism. Sometimes bad coaching can be overcome.

Under a minute to go now in the Michigan State-Central Michigan game...and score is tied. I sort of wish ESPN2 would cut to that game now.

They just did where I'm at.

This stretch run of Central Michigan vs. Michigan State has been great. Just trading buckets possession after possession. Central Michigan blinked first and Michigan State scored the go ahead bucket.

Central Michigan has the ball down 86-84 with 32.7 to play.

Think she was just barely behind the line. At the very least, I don't see enough evidence to overturn it.

These reviews are out of control. How many times do you have to look at the replay? Either you can conclusively see it was or wasn't a 3, and if you can't tell then the original call stands.

They FINALLY switched to the MSU-CMU game after NC State beats Maine, 63-51.

I normally hate replays but the difference between a 2 and 3 is huge there and I think it was worth examining all angles closely.

The question is whether Tennessee can overcome its recent history of laying eggs in the 4th quarter. Plenty of time for UCLA to regain its mojo.

Wow. Matador defense but, still, nice play by the offensive player

Colley with the bucket..88-87, MSU. Timeout Central Michigan.
