Anyone know if games will be covered on tv?They just announced the roster for a competition that starts in two days?

Twice the worry for those of us still healing from 9 years of injury heart ache. I suspect I'll need 2 more Naties to put it all behind.Imagine if Sahara and Serah Williams were both on the team.

That’s some funky spacing. I thought my 1 bourbon was kicking in.This announcement is for the 3X3 Women's "Series." There is
also, a separate U 19 FIBA competition which Sarah is
still eligible.
See more at www.usab.com/news. The Women's "series" runs from
May until September. However, The FIBA competition "ROSTER" that I
am waiting for is the "FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World
Cup 2025" in Brno, Czechia. This "UNDER 19" competition runs from July 12 to
July 20th and the USA is in GROUP A with initial matches
against Korea, Hungry, and Israel. Sarah has won GOLD at
this event in multiple years and since this is AGE LIMITED
(A roster player must be U19 before Jan. 1, 2025) this will
be a separate competition than the " Women's Series". (PLEASE note:
in the announcement noted at the start of this thread, the ROSTER for the 3X3 "WOMEN'S SERIES", that the roster is not limited to players under 19 years of
age. Sarah Strong's Birthday is February 3, 2006. Add 19 years and
that becomes 2/3/2025. So, while she IS currently 19 years old, she was U19
on January 1, 2025 (That is how FIBA determines all these age group
competitions). I'm watching the www.usab.com/news webpage to
see who will represent the USA at the "World Cup". KK Arnold was
on the USA's "World Cup" 3X3 team some years ago. Sarah was
on last year's team with Jasmine Davidson, Saniyah Hall, and Arianna
Roberson. They won the GOLD and Sarah was the MVP. All those
games are archived on the FIBA webpage. Note I often rewatch the highlights
of these games (Sarah Highlights!) by googling: SARAH STRONG FIBA HIGHLIGHTS, and I especially recommend the You Tube version at "USA'S # 1 Prospect! SARAH STRONG MIXED TAPE 3X3 Basketball". It is worth a viewing =
It is only 4 minutes15 seconds long. ENJOY!!!Z
The fans are in "the peanut gallery": i.e. opposite the basket behindHave to admit that this is not my favorite kind of basketball......btw where are the fans?
I'm just a "funky" kind of guy... Nice of you to notice!!That’s some funky spacing. I thought my 1 bourbon was kicking in.
I've seen the USA team (the FIBA UNDER 16, 18, etc. 3x3 teams play forSarah struggled against Madrid. Haven't seen the Ireland replay anywhere.
I've seen the USA team (the FIBA UNDER 16, 18, etc. 3x3 teams play for
the last few years. Sometimes it takes a few games for the team
members to "REALLY" get their chemistry and timing down. Also
the 3X3 ball is smaller, and the refereeing tends to be, well, "different".
One of my impressions from "DAY ONE" is that the USA may be
"sandbagging" it a bid. (despite the close scores). The better
competition is ahead and it is important not to show all your
weapons (IMHO... just a guess).
Yes, but these 3x3 tournaments, at least this particular 3x3 series ofI really wish the players would just take time off.
Professional athletes in general are not allowed to partake in certain physical events that risk injury. Today's student-athletes are virtually professional athletes and should be held to that same standard.Yes, but these 3x3 tournaments, at least this particular 3x3 series of
tournaments are three-day affairs (larger tournaments, the 3X3
World CUP and the 5X5 FIBA competitions are longer affairs and rather grueling. In
the summer, in the heat, outdoors, it can be a matter of fitness as
much as skill. However, to your comment: I see it as a great opportunity to play
overseas, visit different cities. I would imagine working out for
a few hours of training and reviewing some tapes and scouting with time off to be a tourist in different countries and different venues would be rather enjoyable. No? Then, again, I don't think AZZI and other Huskies, etc., are using the summer to "take time off", ???
