I haven't seen a stand-alone commercial with Sarah, but she does appear in the Bonvoy commercial with Geno, Azzi and Kayleigh.I thought maybe there might be some splits on the awards with 1 or more going to Blakes. So glad that so far I'm wrong. Sarah is so deserving. Most humble superstar I've seen in a while. Anyone wonder why there are no Sarah Strong commercials out there? Humble!!
The one I am wondering about is the Naismith for several reasons. With both Sarah & Azzi among the 4 finalists, will they split the “UConn vote” essentially giving the award to Blakes. The other reason is that the Atlanta Tip-off Club displayed a certain “parochialism” in awarding the HS NPOY to Georgia resident Kate Harpring, headed to UNC, over several players who are more highly rated including: The Big O, Saniya Hall and Olivia Edwards. While Blakes is not a nearby resident, she plays at Vandy, and there may well be an SEC bias.I thought maybe there might be some splits on the awards with 1 or more going to Blakes. @oldude, we'll see, but I think that you may be overthinking this. However, if I follow your line of reasoning regarding the Atlanta Tip-off Club, Sarah is from North Carolina, and Mikayla is from New Jersey - just a thought. The one I am wondering about is the Naismith for several reasons. By the same token, the Wooden Award is presented by the LA Athletic Club. It would not surprise me if there is a West Coast bias that favors Betts.
A FIVE TOOL PLAYER! I thought that term was reserved for baseball players? Speaking of which, I would not be surprised if Sarah is a pretty fair softball player.Congratulation to Sarah who is deserving of this award for her 5 skills ( scoring, rebounding, assists, steals and blocks ) A multi-talented player and reserved individual that will rival Breanna Stewart in garnering Trophies and Awards. A one or two trick pony is not representative of this award. I love to watch Sarah play. GO SARAH!!!!! GO HUSKIES!!!!
