Sanogo First Team All BE

I doubt anyone on UConn is making the 3rd team :)
I agree. Since there is no 3rd team. Big East only has 2 all conference teams.

Btw, here was the preseason teams just for reference. Sanogo was honorable mention. Lol

Is Gillespie being considered as a nose tackle?
No, but Boeheim is
time gets GIF

I don’t believe a player that doesn’t start has ever been 1st team BE.

  • Gillespie should be unanimous player of the year.
  • Freeman-Liberty played 13 conference games. Whether or not you want to put him on the team is an interesting question. He shows up on 4 of the lists (2 top 5s).
  • Moore (3 top 5s), Dixon (2), and Nunge (2) are on 5 of the lists. They're not going to put 3 Wildcats on there since they didn't even win the conference, so Dixon should be out.
  • Cole (3), Bynum (3), Alexander (1), and Kalkbrenner (2) are on 4 of the lists.
  • Lewis is on 3 of the lists (2).
  • Sanogo (1), Samuels (1), and Hawkins (0) are on 2 of the lists.
  • Champagnie had a sub 100 ORTG during conference play and his team went 8-11. He should not make an All-Conference team, but he almost assuredly will.

Gillespie as POTY.
1st Team - Moore, Nunge, Cole, Bynum, Freeman-LIberty
2nd Team - Lewis, Sanogo, Dixon, Kalkbrenner, Alexander
