Strong did not go to Monteverde Academy.
You are right,

Sarah Strong is a highly touted basketball player, but she did not attend Montverde Academy. She played for Grace Christian School in North Carolina, where she led them to three state titles. She is now a freshman forward for the UConn Huskies women's basketball team. Strong is known for her exceptional skills, including scoring, rebounding, and playmaking, and was the #1 ranked recruit in the 2024 class.

She’s from Amherst Ohio .
Storrs is just 45 minutes from Amherst Mass . Why wouldn’t she want to play so close to home?

What happened to the old thread about her on this board?

She may have bee born in Amherst? But she played her early high school career at a public school in Ohio. Than did last year at Montverde. In June she went back to Ohio and is enrolling at an academy there for her senior yearl.

This sounds like something produced by AI.

After the FIBA U 19 World Cup I rechecked some of Saniyah Hall's
published data. She is sometimes listed as Saniyah Lauren Lachelle
Hall. While her FIBA profile has her school as Monteverde Academy
in Florida, for whom she played in the 2024 -2025 season, I discovered that she
transferred to "Spire Academy" (Geneva, Ohio) on June 22, 2025, and
on July 8, 2025, she signed a NIL deal with Nike's Jordan Brand. Any
Boneyarder ideas whether this makes Saniyah more or less likely to
consider UCONN? Saniyah did seem to get along well with Kayleigh
on some of the screen shots that I focused on during the FIBA U19
tournament.
More information about Spire Academy is posted on the
U19 Boneyard thread (part of the UCONN RECRUITING section on
the BONEYARD).

Storrs is known as the "Basketball Capital of the World". Perhaps Storrs should also be known as the "Choice of the Most Number 1 Recruits in WBB History!"
yeah I mean Paige -> Azzi -> Sarah is the current chain of #1s.

So happy for Paige that Azzi is her girlfriend and vice versa!

This is is a from a garbage AI site. There is a UConn Recruiting Board here that is MUCH more informative and accurate. It has s thread on this prospect
Yes, Primefield is the pits, cheap effects, bad assessments and misinformation. Yet the site is getting a couple thousand views when posting UCONN content. Why does the site get this many views when we know how pathetic their presentation is. I think it's simple, the fans of UCONN women's basketball team, the team Geno and CD built hang on almost any link to the team they love. We rush to read, watch and listen to any info that furthers a connection to our Huskies. Yes, I watched 2 full presentations wondering where's the Beef? There was nothing there, no real info, when finished I was scratching my head thinking I just wasted minutes of my life. I tried watching again earlier this week to see if the site had improved. Nadda, nothing worth watching, still a waste of time.
I will continue to see how many views they get and know we UCONN fans are so very hungry for Husky tidbits that we will watch almost anything related. However, If you like that site, never mind.

Is it University South California or University South Carolina?

I guess it is South California. I fell much better ...;)
