I have heard Kenya will be the first to leave for a head coaching job, assuming Tom will stay and retire here with Hurley. Kimani even describes himself as an aau coach that happens to be at UConn (or something to that effect).
I see Springs more as a 4 than a 5.. I think his game is more multi-dimensional than a grind-it-out/back to the basket 5.. I am not saying I see him as a starter in his earlier years.. But if/when some of the Bigs on the roster achieve their NBA aspirations.. He will be a valuable asset to have.. As talented and physically gifted as some of our Bigs are/appear to be.... They will need sometime to develop and strengthen physically and enhance their BB IQ.. It seems like he's comfortable putting the ball on the floor.. Pretty unusual for someone his size.. Maybe it's his background earlier in his BB career as a SF.... I think he's going to surprise people with his offensive efficiency.. Great guy to have coming off the bench..Agree. That was a reply to Goose saying don’t sleep on Springs. I don’t think Springs was who Sampsons coach was referring to, so I was trying to see the relevance
What exactly does that explanation by Kimani mean? Not sure what it impliesI have heard Kenya will be the first to leave for a head coaching job, assuming Tom will stay and retire here with Hurley. It’s been written about, it’s been talked about...Don’t shake your %#$&ing head!...THEYRE NOT BADI've seen the same thing written and talked about. Maybe I should have said, At the present time the class is full, but things could change.
Re-read his post, because none of what you just said is accurate about what he said
I sleep on a rubber core mattress jobber.Don't sleep on Springs..He's going to surprise some folks..
I concur. Springs was basically the second best rebounder on the circuit last year behind Sanogo. That combo will do serious damage on the boards in the BEast.Don't sleep on Springs..He's going to surprise some folks..
I was referring to Richie Springs Kemosabe..I sleep on a rubber core mattress jobber.
Is that like Javonte Brown Ferguson?I was referring to Richie Springs Kemosabe..
First of all, unless you've read each and every post that applies to this particular one, it might be best to keep your asinine comments to yourself dikwad. It’s been written about, it’s been talked about...Don’t shake your %#$&ing head!...THEYRE NOT BAD

Are you saying 85% of Yarders are old f--ts??Does that mean 15% are young f--ts?
Even the head coaches on camera?Regardless of age, everyone farts.
C'est vraiRegardless of age, everyone farts.
Vous parlez francais, mon ami!C'est vrai
there wasnt a big difference in the past when a guy like josh boone (or whaley) could be an effective starting PF, but these days that's not ideal and shot blocking stretch 4s like akok and samson are very different from traditional centers like sanogo/brown/clingan.In college is there really any difference between the 4 and the 5? Honestly, I don't think there is.
i dont think he should ever play the 3 given his biggest strength is rebounding. gotta see how his jump shot looks but i think right now he has more of a traditional center's skill set as compared to a modern PFssprings (who I think get some time at the 3)
I'm guessing you are very young and weren't around for this.
Don't even know what people are fighting about here. Just very glad Samson has joined us, we have this awesome class coming in because we made the right decision with Hurley.
What on gods Earth are you talking about lol...your post sounded like a direct quote from one of Calhoun’s epic press conference rants...just trying to have some fun...lighten up jeezeNot young at all. Just wish that some of the posters would read all the posts instead of jumping in the middle of a conversation they don't know the origin of a particular reply. And then the idiots pile on. Class of '84, by the way.

I was assuming NYtoCt was kidding around with his post and wasn't trying to put you down. That's the way I took it and thought it was funny. Not young at all. Either that or Pitt wishes they'd gotten Hurley. Was genuinely nervous about the 2021 class a few months ago just because of the lack of Northeast guys available. Unreal job by Hurley. But I think we can all agree we'd still rather have Jeff Capel...
