This is great news, but we do not want another scholarship to open for 2021-2022. In a perfect world, we make a national title run with a core around a junior year Bouknight - who then departs for a top 5 NBA Draft selection. Let Clingan stay in his current class.

Very nice. That puts a bow on the class.

6-10 with a 7-5/7-6 wingspan.

He shot 67 percent from the field, scoring often on dunks and in the paint, while shooting 37 percent (13-of-35) from deep.

In a perfect year, Bouknight lights the world on fire enough in 20-21 that it would be stupid for him not to leave.

Welcome to UConn young man.

Incredible class. A lot of time will be spent enjoying watching these kids games.

Time to update the assistants' hauls:

Tom - Jackson, Diggins, Akok
Kimani - Sanogo, Bouknight, Gaffney, Springs, Johnson
Kenya - Hawkins, Javonte Brown Ferguson

All 3 of the staff members were primary on a 2021 top 100 recruit. Incredible.

Honest question...how long can we realistically expect this staff to stay intact? With the success they’ve had recruiting I’m sure there will be head coaching options thrown their way in the not too distant future, right?

Who knows, but Kimani is gonna kill it when he gets his chance. Dudes been a killer since he got here.

So smart, yes - I love it. At the end of the day, the goal is always the number of NBA players and not NCAA championships...the kings of what could have been! Ah! To dream of such aspirations...

If Bouk stays through his Junior year, he might have his name in the rafters. If he doesn't, well...he doesn't. I root for team success, not individual success. Great play shines through regardless of who put the ball in the basket. It probably doesn't matter though, either way, it's likely the season is cut short and the NBA is still a mess headed into 2021, so it's quite likely we get Bouk through Junior year, almost by default.
