He was going to go to Maryland and he didn't qualify. Might of been something before ND prep.

Not comparing to Newberry as I haven't seen him but while Cassell isn't a great athlete he does have a bit of his dads shot/game.

I believe Cassell Sr. played with both Ollie & Allen in Milwaukee for a season. Next year, Allen & Ollie were traded to Seattle, from what I remember.

When I was in driver's ed circa 1990, an instructional video they had us watch contained a character named Cambridge. Cambridge looked just like Sam Cassell with an afro. Later, when I saw him in the NBA, I always wondered if he had a previous job of acting in educational videos.
