Must be quite a thrill for a home-grown player.

Would this be an indication that UCONN has moved on from Canada and Mitchell? Maybe they already had...

I'm sure UConn would still love to get Canada but there may be signals that she wants to stay in CA. I don't think Mitchell was ever a UConn target.

3 more would be nice :)
Esp some big guys

Ehhh, yes! We should pick up one "oversized" recruit per year. That would definitely bring down the blood pressure readings among the Boneyard posters.

Welcome aboard Sadie. You've made this a very good day for Husky Nation.

Didn't Chong have a lot of stealth, speaking with a lisp?
You're really slipping, Milford. This sort of stuff used to appear only in PMs from you, but now it's leaking out onto the main board.

Great News! I was starting to wonder if UCONN would ever get a verbal from another recruit.

It appears that UCONN is headed toward quite a nice group in 2014 with Edwards and Ekmark, and I am guessing Calhoun.

So much for the demise of UCONN recruiting...

Story from Jim

Someone posted a video interview with her a few weeks back and I was struck by how mature and well-spoken this young girl is. She is going to be a great 'get'. Plus, you've got to love a kid with an old-style name like Sadie!

Sadie is the name of my sweet, little Jack Russell Terrier...can't go wrong with a name like that.

Welcome Sadie!!!

We are so happy to have you in the UCONN family!

Havent seen her play since her freshman year. She was about 5'6" back then and was one of the top 5 players in the state then.
This is great news!

Anyone go up to see Mohegan this weekend? Mercy won in one of the best games I've ever witnessed.

I agree, I just watched the video, she acts like she is 26, not 16.

now guys remember how excited we are to land Sadie as a recruit ......fast forward to her playing days here at UConn and were even THINKING about bashing a play or a turn over that she commits to think back to now and how excited we are to have her play 4 years at UConn

Glad to hear. Welcome to UCONN. This is a nice news right before the tourney.

Really? Can't you just be happy?

Oh I'm very happy that we got a recruit....just reminding some people that as much as we get excited were the same fanbase thatfeeds our young to the lion
Well bring it up later, when/if it ever happens. No need for it here and now.

Bumping the good news up to the top, ladies and gents! Happy First Day of Spring!
