Oh I'm very happy that we got a recruit....just reminding some people that as much as we get excited were the same fanbase thatfeeds our young to the lion
Well bring it up later, when/if it ever happens. No need for it here and now.

Loved the comments from her coach that vowel posted. here are about half of them from Altivilla's blog...

She is extremely smart and not only about basketball. She can be much more than a basketball player if she aspires to do so,” Clarke said. “But she studies the game. She loves talking about basketball. He knows about the teams we’ve played, the strategy we’ve developed and how to get herself into positions to improve herself at a very high level for a 16-year-old."

“She’s a very out-going, personable young woman. combined with being a great athlete. She’s been able to put it all together and that’s fairly apparent because of UConn’s interest in her. She will be a tremendous player for them and likely will be a coach someday."

Normally we are probably the most excited for kids we land who are in the top 5 (KML, and last year's class for example), but I love the addition of Chong and now Edwards. Great kids, smart, high bball IQ, great teammates, and hard workers. Will they be starters someday? Who knows. I suspect Edwards will be a bit like a Brianna Banks type of player - freshman year probably a tad overwhelmed by the elite level of play needed at UCONN, but with a big jump sophomore year, a real contributor.

Either way, what's not to love about a kid who probably will make a great coach someday? I'm really glad she chose UCONN...
