How does a guy who averages 11.1 per game go off for 25? The kid looked like he was 1st team BE.

See his game log. He can be very good 1 game then very bad the next. Unfortunately for us, he was very good.

He has had some great games, some clunkers too. too bad he went off on us today.

I thought he looked great out there today. I was really impressed with his game and he'll be a player I'll be keeping track of going forward. His game today reminded me a little bit of Steph Curry.

we supply one player on almost every team we play a career game and next game they fizzle out

The kid was a 4 star PG coming out of high school in PA. Scout had him as the #8 PG in the country.

We were saying at the game that his number is #15 and thats about how old he looks. :)

Hate to say it but no one stepped up to the challenge. He clearly challenged our guards but Bazz, Boot and whoever, weren't able to stop him. He actually overcame our quickness as slow as he looks. If Boat (who primarily guarded him) wasn't going to score then at the very least make it difficult for your opponent. Many of his shots were not really contested, as I don't think he had an 'and 1' all game.

The answer was partially he was hot but also combine it with not so good D.

God that was annoying just seeing him chuck up 3 after 3 when none of ours were falling.

Arcidiacono didn't come from nowhere. He's a really good player. Inconsistent, but can fill it up.

I kept shaking my head. Not because of his play but because i went to school with an Arcidiacono and we pronounced it normally. Unlike the heavy Italian slant put on by the play by play guy.

I think a mailbox could play better defense than Boat.

I don't think he scored with Niels guarding him, but Niels didn't look very comfortable that far away from the lane (kept hedging back, which is death for a defender of 3pt shooters).

Reminded me of a player from the 70's Henry Steele, very similar.

the kid seemed like he scored over half their points and assisted the other half. he looked awesome. taller than i thought too, they have him listed at 6-4?

I'm not sure what kind of crack's going on in this thread, but the kid made his big difference when Bazz was on hit in the second half. He hit a couple big shots, then Bazz felt for some reason that he had to answer by jacking jumpers and failed. That killed us. Boat had a horrible game, but he was rooted to the bench when it mattered.

What was really frustrating all game was that it was clear this was a guy who was only going to shoot jumpers, so you had to make him drive, but we never really did so.

Did you actually watch the game? He was getting by both Napier and Boatright and into the lane consistently, at which point he would pass the ball out to one if his teammates who would have an open jumper when the help D would come.

I'm more amazed that Elijah Allen of Fairleigh Frickin Dickinson, who had a career high of 24, dropped 43 on Ricky Moore and Co in an NCAA Tournament game. Once you've seen that...

Ryan dictated what he wanted to do and Uconn escorted him through his 40 minutes rather than guard and prevent him from doing so. It was our game and we allowed him to take it from us.
