For those of you who were concerned about Khadijah, I wanted to let you guys know she's back in practice and will play against St. John's on Sunday.

In other news Erica Wheeler is out with the same injury.

"Rutgers women's basketball coach C. Vivian Stringer announced that junior guard Erica Wheeler suffered a concussion in a Feb. 4 loss at Connecticut and is out indefinitely."

good grief. concussions seem to really be on the rise. Doty was out a game with one, Rushdan and Wheeler now - who else? better that than a season ending injury, but there seems to be more head trauma going on than i recall in the past...

Didnt realize that Wheeler hit her head! Hope she gets better soon!

Erica got hurt late in the second half of the UConn game going for a loose ball. She dove out of bounds and hit her head on something. One of your players gave her a hand to help her up and she fell right back down. She was able to get up on her own, but walked to the bench rubbing her head. She did not return to the game.

Yes I remember that one..was surprised she when back down...hope she is getting better...
